George Peck is a software trainer,
consultant, and developer with more than 20 years of experience in the
computer industry. George is certified by Crystal Decisions (formerly Seagate Software) as both a trainer and consultant for
Crystal Reports, and he received the Seagate 1998-1999 Training Partner of the Year award.
After more than 10 years as an internal consultant and trainer in a large
corporation, George founded his own consulting and training firm,
The ABLAZE Group, in 1994. His first project was a large Visual
Basic/Crystal Reports project for a major west-coast bank. Since then he
has trained, consulted, and developed custom software for large and small
clients around the United States, Canada, and Europe.
George's career in computers began in 1978 when he purchased
his first personal computer (a Radio Shack
TRS-80) and taught himself to program in one of the earliest
versions of Microsoft BASIC. Prior to his computer career,
George was a broadcaster by trade. You may
still hear George on national radio and television where he is the voice
of various commercial and promotional campaigns.
